Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Calcrum. By creating an account or connecting your channels to Calcrum, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Calcrum provides bookkeeping, payment reconciliation, and margin calculation software for direct-to-consumer businesses operating in India. Calcrum connects to your sales channels, logistics carriers, and payment gateways to summarize financial performance.

2. What Calcrum does and does not do

Calcrum performs automated bookkeeping and daily reconciliation. Calcrum does not provide formal chartered accountancy services, statutory audit, tax advice, or GST/TDS tax filings. Your chartered accountant remains responsible for filing tax returns using the clean books provided by Calcrum.

3. 28-day trial & cancellation

Every new account begins with a 28-day free trial. You may cancel your subscription at any time during or after the trial with zero penalty. Offboarding takes minutes, and your historical export reports remain accessible to you.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that the channel credentials and email forwarding rules you connect to Calcrum are authorized for your company. You agree not to use the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

5. Data ownership & confidentiality

Your financial records, bank transaction metadata, and store sales logs remain 100% your proprietary property. Calcrum operates with read-only credentials, never initiates monetary disbursements from your bank accounts, and encrypts all stored financial telemetry.
