Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
At Calcrum, we understand that financial and transaction data is the most sensitive information an operating business possesses. This policy explains what data we collect, why we need it, and how we protect it.
1. Data we access and process
To provide autonomous reconciliation and ledger accounting, Calcrum processes:
- Order data: Customer order numbers, gross invoice amounts, line items, and fulfillment statuses from sales channels like Shopify, Amazon, and Flipkart.
- Settlement data: Payment gateway deduction schedules, settlement UTR numbers, and fee breakdowns from Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, and marketplace payout reports.
- Logistics data: Courier waybill numbers, destination pin codes, billed weights, and shipment tracking milestones from carriers like Delhivery and Shiprocket.
- Bank transaction narration: Bank credit timestamps, debit references, and UTR narration ingested via forwarding or read-only bank feeds.
2. Strictly read-only access
Calcrum never holds custody of your money and cannot initiate fund movements. All connected gateway and sales channel integrations operate on strictly scoped, read-only permissions.
3. No bank credential logging
We never prompt you for or store your net-banking usernames, passwords, or transaction PINs. Bank statements are ingested either via automated email statement forwarding or through RBI-licensed Account Aggregator read-only consent handles.
4. Encryption and storage
All customer transaction logs and financial records are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256 encryption. Database access is segregated per tenant, ensuring zero cross-brand data leakage.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your data stays yours. If you choose to terminate your Calcrum account, all ingested transaction logs, reconciliation records, and credential tokens are permanently deleted from our active databases within 30 days of offboarding.
